Finding that perfect mattress may seem farfetched. Maybe there is no such thing as the perfect mattress. However, there is such thing as the perfect mattress for your particular body. Amerisleep is all about one thing-keeping you comfortable without sacrificing all of the money in your wallet. They have made it so that buying a mattress is hassle-free and affordable. One thing that they do that a lot of other mattress other manufacturers don’t do is manufacture their mattresses right here in the United States in an eco-friendly way.
Their mattresses are created right here in the USA and their memory foams are eco-friendly. They craft their beds with all plant-based materials by using less petroleum in their products. So not only are their mattresses healthy for you, but they are comfortable. Where else are you going to find that at an affordable price? Their process allows them to make memory foam that contours to your body while supporting you, allowing you be supported while not sinking or feeling trapped, which they guarantee.
If you’re one to sleep hot, Amerisleep has designed their mattresses with maximum breathability so that you stay cool and comfortable all night long. They make their beds with something called Bio-Pur memory foam. This foam has an extreme open cell structure that allows air to move throughout it while you lay in bed. It’s the freshest way to sleep.
How can a bed have technology in it without costing a fortune? You see, an Amerisleep bed has something called Celliant in it. Celliant helps you wake up refreshed, recharged, and alert. It recycles your thermal energy, or body heat, into infrared light by using high-performance yarn made from thirteen different thermo reactive minerals-don’t worry, it’s safe. The mattress is also designed to help circulate oxygenated blood better, helping you get the best rest possible.
To start, you should not confuse firmness with support. Support is how your mattress keeps your body aligned while sleeping, whereas firmness is how hard or soft the bed is. Mattresses can range from very firm to very soft. Typically, mattresses come in three types-soft, medium, and firm. However, some mattress companies offer other variety of firmness levels.
Your body type plays an important role in choosing the right firmness level for you. Those who are lighter in weight will feel more of the top layer rather than the core layers that those who are heavier will experience. Those who are heavier in weight will experience more sinking, meaning they will need more support and a firmness that can handle the weight while still providing you with comfort.
These firmness levels are as hard as they get and usually consist of a firm coil system. These types of beds have the least amount of give on the surface. These are designed for back sleepers with a minimal sinkage of around 1” or less. These also offer great spinal support as well.
A firm mattress will usually have a thin upholstery layer of a softer foam that contributes to the soft top of the bed with additional upholstery that is made of a more firm foam that has a more solid and more firm feel to it. This is usually the best choice for back sleepers or stomach sleepers. If you’re a side sleeper, it’s best to avoid beds that are firm.
You can call it what you want, but these mattresses are neither firm or soft. These are a top choice by couples because they are satisfying for both parties. These are comfortable for all types of sleepers such as back, side, and stomach, without causing lack of circulation, comfort issues, or numbness. These are rated as the number one comfort choice by users because of how well they perform.
Medium firm mattresses are a universal comfort. They are made to satisfy the needs of most sleepers. These are very much favored and extremely popular, making them the preference of more than 80% of sleepers. They have the best contour, hug, and pushback balance. No matter what type of sleeper you are, chances are that there is a medium feel mattress made by Amerisleep that will give you the comfort, support, hug, and contouring that you need.
Plush mattresses are very soft and provide sleepers with a much softer initial feel, needed durability and support. These are suited specifically for side sleepers, but not recommended for back or stomach sleepers due to improper spinal alignment.
The Americana is part of Amerisleeps firm collection. Ideal for back and stomach sleepers, you’ll feel like you’re “on” the mattress rather than in it. It is composed of two very distinct layers that give you the proper support to ensure that your aches and pains go away along with support layers for proper spinal alignment and cooling technology.
The first layer of the mattress is the celliant cover that takes your body heat and turns it into ultraviolet. The next layer is an extra-breathable cooling layer made from bio-pur foam which is five times more breathable than traditional memory foam. The next layer is a sag-free boi-core foam support layer and all together, this makes for a 10” firm, cooling bed.
The Amerisleep Americana is not for those who like to sink in just a little bit. It is more firm than the average mattress and it will keep you cool throughout the night. This mattress will help stop your night sweats and overheating while allowing you to fall asleep quicker and stay asleep longer.
Pros
Cons
I recommend this to those who like firm surfaces or who need spinal alignment.
The Revere is another mattress from Amerisleeps firm collection, but falls in the medium firm category. This bed is best for both back and stomach sleepers. This bed has a 12” thick profile with a soft top, but a stable cushion for pressure point relief and spine support.
The memory foam inside of the Revere is enhanced with an open cell structure that allows better air flow between the foam particles. The space inside helps wick away heat while you’re sleeping, keeping you cool and comfortable all night long. On top of that, this mattress, along with all of the others, are completely eco-friendly.
On top of the coolness factor and the fact that it’s made with the celliant cover, it also lacks motion transfer. So if you are one that doesn’t like being disturbed while you sleep, you’ll definitely appreciate the Revere. If for some reason the mattress is still too firm, try a mattress topper to soften it up a bit, or vice versa.

Cons
I would recommend this mattress for those who are looking for something a little softer than the firmest level.
The Colonial is Amerisleeps second softest mattress after their Independence mattress, which is the softest. This particular bed is ideal for side sleepers or anybody who likes to be cushioned while they are sleeping. The one thing that differs this bed from the two firm beds is that this one has bio-pur+ foam and affinity with SMT comfort foam layers.
The Colonial has the celliant cover with the 13 thermo reactive minerals to improve the performance of the mattress. It also have the bio-pur+ foam cooling layer, 4” affinity transition layer, and a 7” sag-free support layer. The difference between the two bio-pur’s is that the plus is 70% more breathable than the original version with a reticulated cell structure. The affinity layer enhances the softness and responsiveness, creating a bed that’s ideal for anybody who loves a softer feel.
This bed, along with all of the other beds in the Amerisleep mattress lineup, have a bounceback of just four seconds. This means that as soon as you move at night, your mattress keeps up with you, giving you top quality comfort without disturbing your comfort or quality of sleep.

I would recommend this mattress to those looking for something a little on the softer side.
The Independence by Amerisleep is another one from their soft collection. This 14” bed features a blend of Amerisleeps most absorbing foam and measuring more than a foot thick. If you’re looking for something that has the ultimate soft feel, this would be it. It features the bio-pur+ and active flex with SMT comfort foam layers for a responsive, but soft feel. This helps to relieve pressure points and makes you feel like you’re floating on a cloud.
The high performance celliant cover helps to increase your circulation as you sleep, exchanging your body heat into infrared, which is completely safe, using thermoreactive yarn. That SMT layer, or Surface Modification Technology, that I was talking about is their softest transition foam. It helps to carry away even more heat and moisture while providing you with the most adaptive support, helping to eliminate pressure points.
So if you’re looking for a bed that’s going to be soft enough for your to snuggle into while keeping you cool and comfortable, the Independence is definitely something you’ll want to consider.

I would recommend this bed to those looking for the ultimate in soft.
The Liberty by Amerisleep is their most popular bed. It is their most versatile mattress and it evenly blends the features of their most firm bed and the cushioning of their softest beds. It’s ideal for couples and those who sleep in multiple positions. This is something that I really like because I like a softer surface whereas my partner likes a more firm surface and this bed is a little bit of both so there’s no sacrificing comfort.
The Liberty is made with the original bio-pur and affinity foam layers, creating a soft, but responsive feel. This helps to relieve pressure points while allowing you to feel like you’re floating on air. The cover is made with high performance Celliant, which is crafted with thermo reactive yarn to turn body heat into infrared.
The other great thing about the Liberty is that is has great motion transfer and it wicks away moisture and pulls body heat away from the surface of the bed with its large open cell technology. There’s no chance of you sleeping warm on this bed and you’ll be able to sleep better and longer with no problems.

I would recommend this mattress to those looking for a medium feel.
Amerisleep definitely has some pretty great mattresses in their lineup. From soft to firm, they have something for every type of sleeper. Their technology is definitely something that I have never seen before and something that I really admire. If you’re looking for a bed that is completely plant based, eco-friendly, comfortable, and affordable, Amerisleep has it. As for the mattress that I feel would be best for you, it honestly depends on your personal preference. The Liberty definitely is the bed of choice for me because it suites all sleepers and has features from both the soft and firm beds, packing all of it into one mega-bed.
